What to expect as a beginner

Nano is NOT easy!

Nano Machine Hairstrokes is a technique that requires a lot of practice. It is important not to give up, even when it may feel frustrating or challenging. Like any skill, mastering this technique takes time and effort. It is a combination of artistry, technique, and precision. It requires a steady hand and an eye for detail. So, be patient with yourself and keep practicing!

One way to improve your PMU skills is to practice on artificial skin or practice pads. These pads are designed to simulate the texture and resistance of real skin. They allow you to practice different techniques and strokes without the pressure of working on a live client. Take advantage of these tools to refine your technique and build muscle memory.

Another important aspect of PMU practice is studying and learning from experienced artists. Seek out mentorship or take courses to learn from those who have mastered the art of PMU. They can share their tips, tricks, and insights with you, helping you avoid common mistakes and refine your technique. Additionally, observing their work and techniques can provide inspiration and guidance for your own practice.

Your First 10-20 clients may not come back with the best result, but that is ok! Just keep practicing and reach out to me for any questions.

If you are an experienced artist that already offer different techniques, please do not give up and go back to what you are comfortable with. I started to see a true improvement in my work when i completely stopped microblading for a month and just strictly practiced Nano Machine Hairstrokes only!
